Description

Environment:

  • OS:
    iOS 16.5.1 (c)

  • IceCubesApp version:
    IceCubesApp v1.7.1

Description

When autoplay content setting is off, video or animated GIFs do not play at all. Clicking on the video on feed opens it. You can see the video timeline and play button Ona white background but pressing the play button opens a black screen.

Research direction

Reproduce this on iOS 16.5.1 (c) with IceCubesApp v1.7.1, with autoplay disabled, for both video and animated GIF content. Trace the feed's opened media playback path; done means the play button works without autoplay and the media no longer opens to a black screen.
