Description

Environment:

  • iOS 16.4.1
  • IceCubesApp version: 1.6.13

Description

I have two subnets A and B. Both routers point with their DHCP DNS entry to a Bind9 instance that routes internal traffic back to the reverse proxy. The obscure part of this is that in A where also the Mastodon server is located I get the error screen and nothing is loading. Meanwhile on network B which is not the same network as the Mastodon server I don't get these errors.

Did you change the default dns server in your app?

Other than that I have a MacBook so if you could give instructions on how to diagnose the problem/exceptions in the background please let me know.

Research direction

No source file, test, or entry point is identified in the report. Start by reproducing the connection failure on iOS 16.4.1 with IceCubesApp 1.6.13 on subnet A, compare it with subnet B, and collect the relevant app or network diagnostics; done requires isolating and fixing the reverse-proxy connection failure.
