Description

Environment:

  • OS: 16.3.1
  • IceCubesApp version: 1.6.5
  • iPhone 11

Description

When I start to compose a new toot and switch the app - eg to safari to copy&paste a link - and come back to compose view, most of the times the compose view is gone and I'm back in the home timeline. All that was written is lost.

I assume this is a memory (?) problem, and newer iPhones might be more robust than my 11...
Nevertheless, resume pomposing schould be rock-solid in all situations.

Research direction

No source files or tests are mentioned. First reproduce the issue on an iPhone 11 running iOS 16.3.1 by starting a toot, switching to another app, and returning; trace how the compose view and draft state behave across app switching. Done means the compose view and all entered text reliably remain available when returning.
