Description

Environment:

  • OS:
    iPadOS 16,3,1
    M1 iPad Pro
  • IceCubesApp version:
    1,5,9

Description

When running two instances of the app in split view, tapping an item in the column of icons in one instance also does the same in the other instance. This shouldn't happen. Both instances should be able to run as two separate apps.

Why would I do this? To get more columns of information presented to me. I always run Mona and Ivory like this on my iPad.

Please watch the attached to see what I mean.

Research direction

Reproduce the split-view behavior on an M1 iPad Pro running iPadOS 16.3.1 with IceCubesApp 1.5.9, then trace how navigation state is handled when two app instances are open. Done means tapping an icon in one instance changes only that instance; verify both instances can display independent columns.
