Migrated issue from tickit:
The lack of __init__.py's in the cryostream packages (tickit.devices.cryostream and tests.devices.cryostream) meant that mypy missed a number of issues that are currently marked as # type: ignore.
The `# type: ignore` need removing in favour of correct typing.
