hyperion-blueapi possible deadlock on plan completion

While testing hyperion 1.6.12 hyperion-blueapi became apparently deadlocked on completing a rotation, at some point during eiger disarm, the plan never completed and no exception thrown, blueapi was unresponsive to requests to get the current task or any other context-related requests although the process was still running and responsive to other basic http requests such as healthcheck
