Description
When using dls-pmac-control to monitor PPMACs at I15 after some time, typically a few minutes, the UI becomes unresponsive. In the best case seen the tool worked for approx 50 mins before becoming unresponsive. No visual indication is given to the user when this has happened so it may not be immediately noticed. This makes the tool unusable for monitoring of PPMACs.
The issue was seen with release `3.2.3` and also `new-main` (2b9ac6)
