Description

Now that almost all references to create-react-app were purged from the official React documentation and in the light that Facebook seems to have abandoned the project (1600+ open issues, no commits for over a year). Any plans to switch the devextreme-react-template to another - better maintained - frontend tooling framework, like e.g. Vite?

Research direction

The issue names no files, entry points, or tests. Start by reviewing how the template currently uses Create React App and compare the available frontend tooling options, including Vite. Done means agreeing on a replacement and defining the migration scope; the issue does not yet provide enough detail for implementation.
