Research direction

Start by locating the existing dx.all.d.ts declaration and the DevExtreme ASP.NET MVC package and Visual Studio template integration points. Confirm how a non-modular declaration should remain compatible with dx.all.d.ts; done means it is shipped with the package and appears in the templates.
