I have received a few new feature requests from the KOReader reddit community to be added in the first official release. I will list them here to hopefully finish before the release.

No source files, tests, or entry points are named. Treat each unchecked request as a separate investigation: inspect the existing sleep-screen widget and quote-selection behavior first, then define scope and acceptance criteria for random quotes, RTL support, and the background treatment before implementation.
