Description
In GitLab by @JoerivanEngelen on Feb 6, 2023, 17:31
From what I know, the ISG file format follows a fairly complicated data model.
It is however used in the regional models of the Netherlands, for the SFR package, as far as I know. (Not for the LHM).

Research direction
Start by researching the ISG file specification and how imod-python handles other input formats; the issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Clarify the required SFR regional-model use case and acceptance criteria, since the issue does not define which ISG data must be readable or how completion will be verified.
