Datetime columns in the associated text files of IPF files are converted to string using date_format="%Y%m%d%H%M%S" when writing to CSV, so iMOD can deal with them.
Currently datetime columns in the IPF table itself are not converted. For example the start and end date in a metadata table. This can be solved by applying the same datetime format when writing the IPF file itself.
