Description

We're looking for some way to note a couple of things.

  1. If we have used the entire sample provided to us at the sample prep stage. Currently WALDO tells us if we've used all the powder/lysate/extract but we always assume that we still have more of the actual sample but that's not always the case.
  2. A way to note if the sample was sent for C14, and did we send everything or do we still have some of it with us. I think this one should be considered when getting around to including C14 batches in WALDO.
  3. A way to note if the sample was sent back to the collaborator and therefore is not in our lab anymore.

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. First clarify how sample depletion, C14 shipment status, and collaborator returns should be represented, then trace the existing sample-preparation and C14 batch workflows; done means each requested status can be recorded and displayed consistently.
