Description

There might be be a bug in the the newest version of mergeit. I always gives an error of a duplicated individuals between the two dataset (even if I am sure there are none and it works with an older version of the tool) and also the turn off duplicate parameter doesn't work.
Thanks!

Research direction

Start by reproducing the report with the newest and older versions of mergeit using two datasets, including the duplicate-check parameter. Trace the mergeit entry point and compare the duplicate detection behavior; done means valid datasets no longer produce a false duplicate error and disabling duplicate checks works.
