Description
Two requests:
1. Would it be possible to include a non-silent fail for underscores in the DOI names?
2. Probably make this abstract and also include other characters and other custom names (e.g., the user can specify `_doi` or `\_doi` or `\____` as their doi tag in the `update_references()` function.
