Description

Description

Capture whether each entry/service is New delivery, Change/enhancement, or BAU / run the business, and use it in reporting filters and breakdowns.

User story

As a reporting user, I want to filter and report by delivery type (new, change, BAU), so I can understand the delivery mix and commitments.

Acceptance criteria
  • Service entries include a Delivery type field with values:
    • New delivery
    • Change / enhancement
    • BAU / run the business
  • Reporting pages allow filtering and grouping by delivery type.
  • Export includes the delivery type column.
  • Existing services can be backfilled (bulk update approach defined).
Tasks
  • Add field to data model + UI.
  • Add validation/help text.
  • Update reporting queries + export schema.
  • Plan and complete backfill approach.

Research direction

Start by locating the service-entry data model and UI, then trace the reporting pages, queries, export schema, and existing bulk-update approach named in the tasks. Confirm how existing services are represented and how backfill operations are handled. Done means delivery type is captured, validated, filterable and groupable in reports, included in exports, and existing services have a defined backfill path.
