Description

As I so often do, I'm basing this suggestion on how Neon works: a version of Neon exists within Rodan, which means that the user can attach Neon to the end of the e2e OMR workflow and their mei files will flow directly into it. However, Neon also exists as its own standalone website, so that if users already have their mei files, they can upload them straight to Neon without having to go through the entire e2e OMR workflow.

I'm wondering if we could do the same thing for the new IC once it's integrated into the full mothra workflow. I know that in most cases, users will use the IC as part of the e2e mothra workflow, but they may also sometimes just want to work directly in the IC. Would it be possible to keep a standalone version of the IC as it is now? Do people agree that this would be useful? @Yueqiao12Zhang, @kunfang98927, @kyrieb-ekat.

No files or tests are named. Review the current standalone IC and the planned Mothra e2e integration first, then clarify whether retaining standalone access is feasible and useful; done means reaching a decision and defining the implementation scope.
