Description
In Rodan, if a resource is in PNG, Rodan gives you the option to view it without downloading it. You can do this by clicking on a Resource (either in Resources tab or in a specific workflow run) and then clicking on the blue View button that appears in the bottom right. That makes a pop-up window appear, showing the resource in question.
The issue arises when the resource is a separated layer. Each layer contains only the symbols that are supposed to be in it (neumes/staff lines/text); everything around that is emptiness. If you download a layer, say layer 2, and open it in Preview, the background is grey, so you see this:
All good! In Rodan though, the background of the viewer is black. So when you view the resource in Rodan, you see this:
The layer is correct, but you can't see it because the background is black! Obviously often neumes are actually grey or brownish, so you can still sort of see them, but it remains annoying.
I think an ideal background colour would be a gentle grey sort of situation!
