Description
Hello,
It would be nice to have a similar set of features for windows and linux scripts, e.g. support for AWS SSM parameters. Now one way to distribute agent for linux and different way to distribute for windows, because SSM parameters are not supported in windows version.
Second point.
Linux version accepts arguments via env variables, while windows expect to be passed as script arguments.

Research direction
No files or tests are named in the issue. Compare the Linux and Windows distribution scripts first, focusing on AWS SSM parameter handling and how arguments are passed. Done means both platforms provide equivalent parameter and argument behavior, with the resulting usage verified for each platform.
