Description

This is a tricky issue, but very important. It will make the tool an indispensable aide for communities trying to build resilience. It will need help in the data layer, so if you are minded to give it a try, the core contributors will help and point you in the right direction. Comment below and we will be in touch.

Building out triggers for automatic warnings, questionnaires, and messages to be delivered (e.g. when “asset A experienced an earthquake of seismic intensity scale X” or “asset B is under flood warning”). This would allow decision-makers to receive real-time alerts for key assets.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by mapping the data layer and how the dashboard currently delivers messages, then clarify the supported warning sources, trigger conditions, questionnaires, and delivery channels with the core contributors. Done should mean an agreed design and working real-time alerts for the specified asset events.
