Description
It would be nice to be able to choose deblenders other than sextractor, maybe the SDSS deblender and scarlet, or ubersegmentation, for example. Something like a new module that deals with blended objects where you can choose the deblender would be useful. It might also be useful to lay out what kind of tests on blended objects we would like to see in the validation code while planning the structure of the new deblending module.

Research direction
No file or test is named in the issue. Start by reviewing the current SExtractor deblending path and the validation code, then compare the proposed SDSS deblender, scarlet, and ubersegmentation options. Done should include an agreed module structure, selectable deblenders, and defined blended-object validation tests.
