General thoughts

I could see a hackathon taking any of the following directions:
- We could pick an existing project and contribute to it (e.g. work on an open issue, add a feature, etc.)
- We could think of a new problem (e.g. webcam-based eye tracking, some other things that we'd fine useful, etc.) and write a package to solve it
- Different participants could research different packages, tools, or techniques that the group wants to learn more about and we could prepare a collection of mini tutorials and present them (virtually) to the group
