Was thinking about stories from the future and other writing. Struck me that one could sell 'product placements' in future fiction for products that were still in R&D. But would have to be equity tokens, because who would give you cash for promoting something that couldn't monetize for years? Writers will write regardless, but sure would be cool to wake up one day and realize the tiny sliver of Google that you write into a story in 1995 is now worth a new house down payment.
