Description

What problem are you trying to solve?

The maximum default zoom is 150%, which is not enough for comfortable use. The only workaround is to launch the binary manually with --force-device-scale-factor=<value>. In Electron-based apps, there is no "flags" file like the one in Chromium, so each session must be started from a terminal with the required flag or launched through a bash wrapper.

What would improve it?

Provide customization options for font size and/or a larger max zoom value. Attached screenshot shows the difference after --force-device-scale-factor=1.3

Research direction

Start in the Settings area and trace how the Electron app currently applies its 150% zoom limit and handles --force-device-scale-factor. The work is done when users can configure a larger zoom value and/or font size through the app, without launching the binary manually with a flag.
