Description

Question

The desktop repo currently only contains install scripts (install.sh, install.ps1), release artifacts, and docs — I couldn't find the actual frontend source code of the desktop app.

Is there a reason the frontend code isn't open source? Is open-sourcing it on the roadmap, or is it intentionally kept closed (e.g. licensing, security, commercial reasons)?

Thanks for clarifying!

Research direction

Review the desktop repository contents, including install.sh, install.ps1, the release artifacts, and the existing documentation. Determine whether the frontend source is intentionally excluded and whether the project states a licensing, security, commercial, or roadmap position. Done means documenting or confirming the project’s answer; the issue does not define a code change.
