[Feature Request] Don't show suggestions on initial focus of search bar

There is an annoying pattern:

1. User opens the registry home page for the first time
2. The search bar is auto focused
3. The query history suggestions appear
4. Now the first row of node packs is obscured. But the first row is some of the most important content.
5. To unobscure, you need to un-focus the search bar

Reproduce the issue on the registry home page by focusing the auto-focused search bar and observing the query-history suggestions. Locate the search-bar or suggestion entry point, then verify that initial focus no longer obscures the first row of node packs while the intended search behavior still works.
