1.40.0 - UI unreliable text selection

### Prerequisites

- [x] I am running the latest version of ComfyUI
- [ ] I have custom nodes enabled

### What happened?

Selecting text, pretty much everywhere, behaves weirdly.

Selecting text in multiline text fields will sometimes not even select the whole text, despite sliding the mouse to select the whole text. Or deselect the whole text, instead of selecting all the text.

Selecting text in search fields will close the menu, instead of selecting the text.

It makes the UI feel unreliable unless you're being extra super uber precise - and seeing as you're now catering towards thumbpushers and tablet users, it seems even more crucial that things like this should polished, I guess, I dont use thumbpushing devices personally.
