### What problem are you experiencing?

I swapped the native PreviewNode for Impact Pack’s PreviewBridge about a year and a half ago. The native one basically stops the flow, which gets annoying in some setups, but the real problem is that you can’t pass masks or any useful data through it. This hits even harder with the preview 3D. Most of the time I don’t just need to look at the model, I need to keep working with it.

Since Load3D is the only node that can export images or maps from that 3D object, I end up saving everything to disk and loading it again just to keep the workflow going. That kills any kind of automation and slows down the work a lot.

I’d love to see the native Preview Nodes, both image and 3D, work like PreviewBridge by default. They should let the data keep moving and just act as a small stop to check whatever you need at that point.
