3D preview does not show preview on linux

### Expected Behavior

I expect it to function in the same way it does in the video in this post

### Actual Behavior

however it doesnt even show a preview window inside the node

### Steps to Reproduce

I installed the new comfy update by "git pulling" my existing install's location
then I also updated the IF-TRELLIS custom nodes
plugged the nodes in as you see in the image above with, setting the preview widget to an input
