Generated images don't show automatically

Description
git commit: 05cd00695a84cebd5603a31f665eb7301fba2beb
I tried the default workflow and custom workflows, the generated images didn't show up in Save Image or Preview Image nodes, I had to Load from generation history to see the image.
I don't see other people encountering this issue, and I tried installation on 2 machines (Linux, NVidia), and had the same issue on both of them.
Could you help me figure out what's wrong?
