[Feature] Use mode vs Build Mode

As a user, I want to be in able to switch to a "mode" such that the default behavior of clicks and dragging and such doesn't move nodes around or disconnect vertices.

I don't accidentally drag nodes around or disconnect vertices. I understand that holding down spacebar will enable me to move the canvas. I would just rather have a toggleable behavior change that I can use once the workflow is "built".
