how to set up aria2 as downloader

I'm running comfyui on a ubuntu vm. aria2 is one of the first programs I install on any new ubuntu vm, and I'd like comfyui-manager to use it. There appears to be this readme https://github.com/ltdrdata/ComfyUI-Manager/blob/main/docs/en/use_aria2.md but I'm not sure how to actually set this up on my ubuntu vm. Any help is greatly appreciated
