Description

### Custom Node Testing

- [x] I have tried disabling custom nodes and the issue persists (see [how to disable custom nodes](https://docs.comfy.org/troubleshooting/custom-node-issues#step-1%3A-test-with-all-custom-nodes-disabled) if you need help)

### Your question

When installing the app from the website (https://comfy.org/download) on 8 Sep (today), I get an error part-way through installation saying "Comfy Desktop cannot be closed. Please close it manually and click Retry to continue".
Since I have not installed it before, this is a bit odd.

Hope for the best, I click 'retry' and things seem to go well until "Error opening file for writing: [instal path]uninstall Comfy Desktop.exe"
The 'retry' button isn't working this time.
But it's only the uninstall... so 'skip'?
Nope. The installation folder is totally empty.

### Logs

```powershell
Research direction
Start by reproducing a fresh installation from https://comfy.org/download and observe the errors about closing Comfy Desktop and writing uninstall Comfy Desktop.exe. Check whether the installer can complete and leave a populated installation folder; the empty Logs section means additional reproduction details may be needed.
