Description
Hi everyone,
I am helping my wife to develop a web-site and we are using the Unite theme. At some point we noticed that the mobile view does not seem to function properly, along with the question I posted in the forum:
https://forums.colorlib.com/t/dropdown-menu-changes-color-if-clicked-on-the-parent-entry-again/27229
Trying to back-trace the problem, I did a clean install of up-to-date Wordpress, created few dummy pages and similar issues still persist, see:
http://testnet.se
I see mainly two issues:
- The search bar is too wide (I managed to fix this using custom CSS);
- Drop down menu behaves strange:
----> There is a desktop-like pop-down behavior instead of mobile-like extending behavior;
----> Long menu entries are not wrapped around to fit in the screen.
I wonder if there are any plans to correct this behavior?
Best,
Ugis

Research direction
Reproduce the mobile layout and menu behavior described in the issue using the linked test site and the Unite theme, then trace the theme's mobile navigation and search styles. Done means the search bar fits the viewport, dropdowns use mobile-style expansion, and long menu entries wrap without overflowing.
