Creating smooth graphs

I think it's not that hard to create a graph in P5, since you can draw vertices after you used the map function. The only problem is that the graph will have many sharp corners, and the prettiest graphs would be rounded and smooth. I have thought about this but I couldn't figure it out, so I think this would be a good coding challenge idea.
