Description

What problem does this address?

It appears this plugin does support Retina 2x images. In Google Lighthouse I see displayed/actual size is 1/2 of the Expected size for the menu image that I picked. If I increase the pixel dimensions of the file I choose, the graphic just gets larger in the menu bar.

What is your proposed solution?

This plugin needs to support 2x retina images.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the Lighthouse result with the selected menu image and inspect how the plugin renders that image in the menu bar. The issue does not name a file, entry point, or test. Done means a Retina 2x source image displays at the intended menu size rather than enlarging the menu icon.
