Description

This partially duplicates work done in [https://opensource.guide/starting-a-project/](https://opensource.guide/starting-a-project/), which is further along, has momentum, and exists in the context of other work in [https://opensource.guide/](https://opensource.guide/)

How about adjusting the focus of the mission in this project to reduce the overlap?
Maybe something like:
> Building on https://opensource.guide/, CodeForPhilly/gettingstarted adds local specifics of what we've found to be successful given our unique environment here in Philly."

With topics like:
- city and suburban meet-up spaces, what they offer, how they differ and how to contact them
- local open-source champions and how to align with them
- news and media channels that are friendly to open source values
- ways to establish and maintain project momentum that work better here than in other places
