In talks at workshops and with higher capacity users (directly), organizations what to understand where community assets are in relation to vacant properties.

Schools
Community/Recreational Centers
Libraries
Commerical Corridors
Others? (keep it simple)

The rational is that for neighbors organizing interventions, they want to know who their potential partners are (cleaning, greening, planning, programming, advocating), in addition to neighborhood organizations, who we do identify in the system but do not map.

Would certainly anticipate to think it though.

I suspect this conversation has been had among the team at some point, and likely a question of resource, time, and intention. I don't think we have had a conversation with a potential partner that doesn't consider the proximity of a vacant parcel (thinking about strategic interventions) in proximity to some other 'community asset'. This can be a long list, and preferences can differ from one party to another.

One could list these in the property drop down window with other data (similar to Neighborhood organizations), however, I'd prefer to see these highlighted on the map minimally at a neighborhood scale.

There are two ways to consider this information, 1.) From the POV vacant parcels, and community assets in proximity 2.) From the POV of the asset, what is the status of vacancy in proximity. Also simply providing point data (location of the asset), may be a step 1, vs. any additional analysis/calculation/insight.
