Description
I hate the current limitations of navigating around Maps, esp when in an active route. Very often, will want to zoom out to see what's coming & current UX/UI implementation is less than ideal - clicking magnifying lenses to zoom in or out & d-pad to move point of view.
I realize that this is not Sidecar or Clutch Engineerings doing, this is the base functionality in all navigation apps in iOS (Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, OnXOffroad etc). However, given the ambition's & abilities of this group, i'm hoping yall maybe able to introduce enhanced, pinch-to-zoom functionality. Not complicated, just working as expected.
as an example & demonstration of possibility, Ford's Sync4 Navigation UX/UI does successfully allow pinch-to-zoom in vehicle. so, gives me hope that it's possible....
(lastly, did a search on github before posting, but if duplicative pls share link to existing issue & i can delete this one)

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. First locate the navigation map and its existing zoom controls, then verify pinch-to-zoom while an active route is displayed; done means the map can zoom in and out by pinch gestures as expected.
