Map not changing on change of route

Took a different route to the one planned by the app, however the map did not reroute or follow the new path, nor set a new route automatically.

No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reproducing the problem after leaving the planned route, then trace the map and route-update flow to determine where the displayed path should change; done means the map follows or automatically recalculates the new route.
