Description

### Describe the bug

If one looks at the military PAPR mask with or without a filter in the Wear or Take-off menus, one can see that the game displays -nan values for bash, cut, pierce, ballistic, electric, and cold. Looking in the (e)xamine menu for the mask things seem normal as can be observed in screenshots.

No matter what I did, the environmental protection never displayed at all, even if I had an active blower, the mask had a filter, and the mask was prepared. I'm not sure if that's intended or not, but I suspect not. This may or may not be part of the same bug. This issue is present in both the W/T menus and the E menu.

### Attach save file

[Mountain View-trimmed.tar.gz](https://github.com/user-attachments/files/26430022/Mountain.View-trimmed.tar.gz)
One should be able to load this save and skip to step 3 of the steps to reproduce section.

### Steps to reproduce

1: Make any character.
2: Spawn a military PAPR mask.
3: Press W to look at the Wear menu
4: Observe strange protection values shown.

### Expected behavior

I expect two things.
1: That the stated protection values for the W and T menus to match the (E)xamine gui.
2: That the PAPR mask should display *some* value of environmental protection in any gui.

### Versions and configuration

- OS: Windows
- OS Version: 10.0.26200.6899 (25H2)
- Game Version: cdda-experimental-2026-03-28-0250-dirty [64-bit]
- Graphics Version: Tiles
- Game Language: System language []
- Mods loaded: [
Dark Days Ahead [dda],
Disable NPC Needs [no_npc_food],
Portal Storms Ignore NPCs [personal_portal_storms]
]
As with my previous reports on this version, I cannot speak to why it reports as dirty. All I did was pull the master repo, download the binaries for this commit, and run.

### Additional context

In my main game with mods and that's about a week behind, the mask was showing some insane environmental protection (1252698752 to be precise) in the (E)xamine menu for the item, as well as the W/T menus. I am uncertain if this is a mod related issue somehow, or some different facet of the bug. Given the mask is showing -nan values for normal protections, I wouldn't be too surprised if this is the same bug just presenting in different ways.
The following two screenshots are from my main save, just as a point of comparison.

Research direction

Load the attached Mountain View-trimmed.tar.gz save and reproduce the military PAPR mask behavior in the Wear, Take-off, and Examine menus. Compare the displayed bash, cut, pierce, ballistic, electric, cold, and environmental protection values; done means W/T match Examine and environmental protection displays a valid value when applicable.
