Description of the bug

I've followed the instructions to install the MCP server, but it does not seem to be available in the desktop app. Is this a known issue? It almost seems like there are two installations

1. I installed the desktop app, was unable to add the marketplace and have it show up
2. tried to run claude mcp add...., claude not found
3. installed claude with the install.sh, reran (2) and installed the mcp (maybe?)
4. nothing has changed in the desktop app
5. I'm on a free plan to try things out, so the CLI will not even let me in

I should be able to install the mcp once on my machine and have it work for all the ai tools (not just anthropic tooling, however that is the focus here)
