Stutterting every 30 seconds when in game mode

I have ChimeraOS installed with an AMD GPU and CPU. While in game mode, about every 30 seconds to a minute, the system will freeze for a quarter of a second. It happens in any game/app, and even on the home screen while just scrolling through games. It makes it very difficult to play games with the frequent stuttering.
