Has CEC Support Been Implimented Yet? CEC Not Working with Pulse-Eight Adapter on ChimeraOS – Logs Needed?

Hi all,

Has CEC been fully implemented in ChimeraOS at this point?

I'm trying to get CEC working using the Pulse-Eight USB HDMI CEC adapter, but it's currently not functioning with my ChimeraOS install.

I saw that issue [358](https://github.com/ChimeraOS/chimeraos/issues/358) requested support for CEC, and at the bottom of the thread this [comment](https://github.com/ChimeraOS/chimeraos/issues/358#issuecomment-1421006273) seems to think that the issue is a dupe of [this issue](https://github.com/ChimeraOS/chimeraos/issues/149) which has been marked as closed. However, despite this, I'm not seeing any working CEC functionality on my setup.

it looks like, according to issue 358, that the [required library](https://github.com/Pulse-Eight/libcec) can be found in arch package.

Im making a new github issue as the previous ones seemed stale and loop around a little bit with no real indictation of whether the required libraries are included yet.

my questions are:
- Is there a way I can provide logs to help confirm whether CEC is functioning as intended or to help diagnose what might be going wrong?
- can we get a status update for CEC library support for example is there a timeline for adding CEC libraries if this has not been added already?
