Description
SteamOS is becoming more popular, especially since the Steam Maschine now. On my end, I have been tinkering a lot under SteamOS on my self-built setup, but I used Homebrew (brew.sh) to install additional things.
I had heared of this particular project as part of ChimeraOS and I quite like the idea of managing my Steam from the confort of my laptop - especially for non-Steam Store games.
This is why I would like to ask for alternative distribution versions that would allow the Chimera app to run on SteamOS. Flatpak is available by default, and could write to `~/.config/systemd/user` to set up the required units. AppImage is even less restricted. Homebrew would require installation first, but has a built in service manager that could help. I use that one for `keyd` to map a USB 2.4ghz remote to the proper buttons.

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by reviewing the existing distribution setup and how the Chimera app configures user services; done means an agreed Flatpak, AppImage, or Homebrew variant can run on SteamOS with the required service setup.
