# Description
USDCx is now live on Canton, backed 1:1 by USDC through Circle's xReserve. Circle operates the bridge between Ethereum USDC and Canton USDCx, and users can deposit and withdraw through xReserve today.
Our Canton Middleware currently enables MetaMask users to view and transfer our own tokens (DEMO, PROMPT) on Canton. Extend this to USDCx so that users who already hold USDCx on Canton can view and transfer it through MetaMask.
