Point cloud with eye dome lighting disappears when resizing the window on Chrome

Point clouds with eye dome lighting disappear as the window is being resized. I've seen this on Chrome Windows/Linux, but not Firefox Windows/Linux. There are no WebGL errors in the console for either browser.

Originally I thought https://github.com/CesiumGS/cesium/pull/9719 might have been responsible but then I want as far back as CesiumJS 1.50 and the bug was still there. I would be very surprised if this bug has existed for that long, so it might be a recent change in Chrome. I'm on Chrome 94.0.4606.61. @ptrgags if you're still on an old version could you try it out?

Start by reproducing the issue with the linked Sandcastle example in Chrome while resizing the window, then compare the behavior with Firefox and without eye dome lighting. Trace the point-cloud rendering and resize path; done means the point cloud remains visible during and after resizing without WebGL errors.
