Description

What happens is a tile will get stuck and always be rendered. So the layer renders correctly at the correct time and zoom level and this "stuck" tile will always be rendered along with that.

I can't get it to break through normal usage (eg. animating or normal timeline scrubbing). You need to scrub the time line through multiple time intervals and back several times to possibly get the error to occur.

I'm waiting to hear if I can post a screen shot of the data I used.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the WMTS timeline issue using time intervals and repeated, rapid scrubbing as described; the issue provides no files or tests to begin with. Done means no tile remains rendered after the selected time or zoom level changes, including after repeated scrubbing.
