Description
The popup that opens when you click on a contributions pie has a little cross in the top right corner. This cross is the only way to close the popup. Zooming, panning and automatic repositioning often lead to this cross being below the menu bar, which makes it impossible to click on it until you pan down. The full screen button in the top right corner of the map is unavailable for the same reason.
@JosedeKruif and @JeltevanBoheemen have pointed out this issue. I'm going to investigate whether there is an easy solution.

Research direction
Reproduce the map popup and menu-bar overlap, then inspect the map and menu positioning from the relevant frontend entry points. Done means the popup close control and Google Maps fullscreen control remain clickable after zooming, panning, and automatic repositioning.
