Description

Adventure mode won't start. Hitting any button makes the screen fade to black then return to the title.

Hi there, I'm new to forge and was really hoping to try the adventure mode on my desktop. I've been trying to use various fixes but nothing seems to work. Some of the info:

Java is installed at version 25.0.4+7-LTS

I am using forge 2.0.14 snapshot. I have also tried some of the prior versions with the same issue occurring.

Forge itself works okay, just not adventure mode.

I've run it via the command script and the only error related things I see read: Warning a restricted method in java.lang.system has been called. As well as: warning use --enable-native-access=all-unamed to avoid a warning.

I tried to look into how I could add this particular line, but I'm afraid it is beyond me.

Whenever I click any button besides exit there is no error message, it simply says a ping has been found.

Any advice? Sorry if I don't have all the necessary info, let me know if there's any more I could give.

Thanks in advance.

**Desktop (please complete the following information):**
- OS: windows 10
- Browser Google Chrome
- Version Java 25

Research direction

Start by reproducing Adventure mode on Windows 10 with Java 25 and review the command-script output, including the reported ping message and warnings. The issue is resolved when Adventure mode starts normally instead of fading to black and returning to the title.
